I’m trained and experienced in children’s care, learning and development, gained through continuing professional development and higher-level qualification training. I believe passionately about good quality childcare in a home environment. My home is well-equipped for indoor play and I have a large garden. Providing children with a safe and secure fun learning environment.

Before and After school childcare from Marlborough Primary School only.
Professional Quality childcare
I combine free play with the Department of Education’s learning framework, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). These areas underpin the requirements for a child’s early development. Each child has their own individual learning journal folder that tracks their progress while here in my care.
Children under 12 months old have a daily diary sheet that goes home with them each evening telling their parents what they did that day. Parents of the older children have a verbal hand over in the evening. Each day is different I provide activities and experiences from which the children will learn. I cannot offer two or three year old funding in my setting.
I offer a range of activities including music and movement, play dough, art & crafts, cookery, sand and water play. reading, messy play, Construction play such as building blocks. Posting letters home, picnics out, play park, making videos, children’s centre, These all encourage imagination and language skills as well as creative play to build a child’s imagination.
