I am a professionally qualified registered childminder, trained in first aid and from a nursing background. I have full public liability insurance, and I am inspected by Ofsted.

I believe passionately about good quality childcare in a home environment. I care for children from three months old upwards, providing a safe, secure and fun loving environment.

I utilise The Early Years Foundation stage framework to support and teach the children. The four themes are. A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environment, Learning and Development. These themes underpin the skills for a childs early development. Each child has their own individual daily activities sheet that they take home.

All the children's activities are planned a month in advance and according to the childs age and stage of development. The planner is displayed on the parent’s information board. The activities include music & movement, reading and story telling, play dough creative modelling, art & drawing, creative sticking & cutting, singing & learning songs, instrumental making music, water tray play, jigsaws & construction, play parks, library, soft play centre, playgroup, day trips out.

It is very important that parents and I have time to discuss any needs or issues regarding the care of their child. I make time for this, each morning and evening.
